To get here from Guatemala City or from Antigua, the most comfortable way is by taking a shuttle to Panajachel, the price is $12.00 and the trip takes from two to
three hours. You can also take a public “chicken bus” but the trip takes longer. Once in Panajachel go to the public boat dock and take a collective boat ($3.50) and tell the captain that you would like to be dropped off at the Hotel Bambu dock or you can easily take a small taxi (tuk tuk) from the public Santiago docks to the Hotel.
If you have your own transportation from Guatemala city take the highway to Escuintla to Cocales to San Lucas Toliman and then to Santiago Atitlan. We are located on kilometer 16 (San Lucas – Santiago).
